Pricing FAQ

Is PaperQuire really free?

Yes — for personal, non-commercial use, the core app (including PDF export) is free forever and fully offline.

When do I need a license?

If you use PaperQuire as part of your work for a company or other organization, you need a Pro or Enterprise license.

Do you offer a perpetual (one-time) license?

Yes, Pro is available as a one-time purchase that includes a year of updates; you keep the version you have if you don't renew.

Is there a trial?

Pro includes a free trial. No account or internet connection is required to use the app day to day.

How is my data handled?

Everything is processed locally. Your documents never leave your machine. There is no telemetry in the document pipeline.

Education / non-profit / open-source?

Discounted and free community licenses are available on request — get in touch.

Can I use PaperQuire with Obsidian / VS Code / other editors?

Yes! PaperQuire opens standard .md files from any editor. Write in Obsidian, Typora, VS Code, iA Writer, or any tool that saves Markdown — then open the file in PaperQuire when you're ready to produce a polished, branded document.

How do payments work?

Pro is billed through a merchant-of-record (handles global tax/VAT). Enterprise is invoiced annually.
